A wether is a castrated male goat. This is usually done at an early age to prevent sexual reproductive maturity, and to minimize or eliminate characteristics usually seen in breeding bucks in rut...which is rather organic in a number of ways...so....
Wethers make excellent pets!

Not all bucklings should be herd sires and it's important that all breeders know their role in improving the lines that they're raising.
Our wethers are handled every day, and have been bred for temperament first.
All the goat shenanigans, without the bits.

Wethers don't experience the fertility cycles that does do (depending on the doe it can be a pretty moody and vocal experience), and don't stink like bucks. They can be kept with anyone, and you'll always have someone you can wean bucklings with!
