We initially started with two beautiful Nigerian Dwarfs and the idea of breeding goats was not on our radar at all...and then when learning about goats I came across a picture of a Mini Silky and I was hooked: two goats in April turned to 12 come the fall.
We absolutely love their disposition and character, have found that they are excellent milkers, great mothers and enjoy their more docile antics. Their coats are surprisingly easy to care for, and brush out quickly...beards, bangs and cheek muffs?! It's a trifecta of having the cutest fluffy pasture shenanigan creatures you can get!
